We created this one of a kind jacket by starting with vintage denim used from a moving blanket from the 1920s! We used the border of the moving blanket for the front pockets and kept the original seaming of the blanket. The denim used is selvage denim which is incredible that this was used for such a utility style purpose as a moving blanket. We then created the kimono style collar by using vintage Japanese Boro cloth all patched together and vintage herringbone from a 1930s coverall for the one sleeve cuff. Lot's of special details in this jacket.
